Thoughtful, collaborative therapy focused on recognizing emotional patterns and developing responses that are deliberate, sustainable, and aligned with realistic, workable goals.
People often seek therapy when the emotional weight of a situation becomes difficult to hold alone.
Fear, avoidance, or confusion may have been building over time. I help people understand what is happening internally and relationally, reduce emotional intensity, and move toward greater balance and self-direction. I work with young adults and adults who want to build meaningful, connected lives without being defined by psychiatric diagnoses. Therapy focuses on strengthening emotional capacity, psychological flexibility, and the ability to respond with composure during periods of transition or disruption.
Who i work with:
Young adults navigating mood instability, anxiety, or identity challenges that complicate emerging adulthood
Young adults experiencing stalled transitions or limited progress despite prior treatment
Individuals managing complex medical or psychiatric histories
Individuals with heightened emotional sensitivity who require careful pacing
My Approach
My approach is grounded, relational, and systems informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems frameworks to clarify emotional and relational patterns, strengthen distress tolerance, and expand psychological flexibility. Therapy is collaborative, structured, and focused on sustainable change.
What to expect
We begin by identifying what feels most overwhelming or stuck and defining goals that reflect both emotional reality and practical movement forward.
Treatment is structured and deliberate, helping people move from confusion or paralysis toward clearer thinking and more grounded responses. Services are provided virtually.
Fees, Reimbursement, and Licensure
Therapy is provided on a private pay, out of network basis. Payment is due at the time of service. Superbills are available for clients seeking reimbursement from their insurance carrier.
I am licensed in New York and Connecticut, hold a telehealth registration in Florida, and practice across additional states through PSYPACT.
FAQ’s

My practice is best suited for individuals willing to engage consistently, reflect on patterns, and tolerate some emotional discomfort in service of meaningful change.
-
I do not treat people as diagnoses. While many individuals I work with experience mood or anxiety-related challenges, therapy focuses on patterns, capacity, and functioning rather than labels.
-
I collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other providers to support consistency, safety, and long-term progress.
-
My clinical practice is focused on individual therapy. When clinically indicated and agreed upon by the client, I may meet with parents on a limited basis. I am protective of the therapist–client relationship and approach any collateral involvement with care.
