I am a licensed psychologist in New York City. I received a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in 2011 from St. John's University, a Master of Arts (MA) degree in forensic psychology in 2005 from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 2003 from Union College. My educational training focused on the manifestations of behavioral dysregulation, which culminated in a doctoral dissertation on adolescent psychopathy, under the guidance of Raymond DiGiuseppe, PhD.
I offer my clients a collaborative approach, utilizing evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior therapy, and compassion focused therapy. I am particularly interested in the management of medical, behavioral, and learning challenges. I've utilized these skills with a variety of populations, including individuals with special needs, learning and behavioral challenges, brain injuries, and chronic medical conditions. I enjoy collaborating with other providers to ensure a cohesive approach to my clients' treatment. I use warmth, humor, and sincerity to create a comfortable and safe environment for my clients.
