Individual therapy

Therapy should feel useful, grounding, and tailored to the complexity of your life—not generic or performative. I work with adults and young adults who are navigating psychiatric intensity, emotional volatility, or chronic overwhelm, many of whom have felt misunderstood or dismissed in previous treatment. I offer something different: clarity, containment, and a space to think strategically about what’s actually happening and how to move forward.

Therapy may focus on:

  • Making sense of mood shifts, impulsivity, or emotional chaos

  • Interrupting cycles of avoidance, withdrawal, or self-sabotage

  • Navigating psychiatric treatment, medication ambivalence, or trauma responses

  • Exploring identity and accountability with nuance, not shame

  • Building internal leadership: being able to hold distress without collapse

  • Working in the gray areas—where diagnoses blur and meaning still matters

  • Untangling patterns that keep you stuck while preserving what makes you you
